Experience

Network Administrator for Sumner County Board of Education 2007 -Current

  • My duties cover the following: Network administrator for the Westmoreland, Bethpage and North gallatin area schools. Webmaster and data management for all the K12 schools within the County.

IT Support for Sumner County Board of Education 2006 -2007

  • I am in charge of repairing and maintaining personel computers(Mac and PC) for 15 Schools and the central offices. Along with these duties I research and develop, provide application support and help out with web design (when time permits).

Assistant Webmaster for Northwestern Technical College 2005 -2006

  • Responsibilities included design and development of college web site: http://www.northwesterntech.edu . ColdFusion was used to create dynamic content from Access and Oracle Databases and Dreamweaver was used to edit the web sites. Improved upon user experience by creating solutions for organizational concerns.

  • Designed Banners and icons using Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator while keeping bandwidth issues in mind.

  • Addressed support issues pertaining to the web site for faculty and staff. Also researched technologies that could improve the staff, faculty and students experience.


Webmaster of North Georgia Animal League's Web site 2004 - 2006

  • Assumed responsibility for the web site: http://ngaleague.org (Site is currently down and waiting for new Web master) after it was hacked and used as a means to distribute spam. Upon receiving control of the site, it was moved to a new service provider and the blocked status was removed.

  • Currently content is updated remotely and solutions are being implemented regarding uploading content in the future (forums, Wiki, Contribute).

 

Team Leader of Walker county Chamber of Commerce web site redesign 2004

  • Delegated assignments and maintained quality control while designing layout and co-authoring the site’s CSS.

  • Moved clients to an Access database and connected to the web site via ColdFusion technology.
